Australian Community Care Network has established a new base in Grafton to help get discounted food and essential household goods to those in the community who are doing it tough in the wake of bushfires, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Centre manager Alison Tomlinson said “anyone with a benefit card can register to become a member and we have almost 1,000 people registered already but our doors are also open to anyone who have been pushed into hardship by recent events”.
“We’re also cooking up meals each day just to bring people together and everyone is welcome no matter what their circumstances” Alison said
