Southern Cross Credit Union (SCCU) recently announced the Pottsville Beach Community Hall Inc who host the PBNC cook up team, as 1 of 6 successful recipients of their 2020 Community Grants.
COVID-19 restrictions have impacted on the team’s ability to collect rescued food and prepare, cook and distribute healthy ‘homemade’ meals to people in financial hardship and facing many of life’s challenges. The installation of a commercial grade dishwasher for the hall, which will be funded through the SCCU Grant, will be a great improvement and help the PBNC cook up team to get back in the kitchen and get cooking. Well done to everyone involved in securing the grant.
